Shared Ministry

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a member of a two-point urban parish, sharing worship resources and clergy with Reformation Lutheran Church in Columbus (see Links).

As part of our sharing, we switch service times once a year, to fairly allow each congregation to have early and late services.

We switch hours in June, and we precede the switch with a dual church picnic.

Worship: 11:00 am | Sunday School: 9:45 am

Worship life at Good Shepherd is truly reflective of the triune nature of God.

We Gather to Worship and Praise The Lord Our God.

We begin our Worship with a brief order of forgiveness, or a Thanksgiving for Baptism that immediately connects us with our Lord.

Our worship style is a liturgical worship that easily moves us into the presence of the Lord through the Word, song and sacraments.

God gives the Word and the sacrament to the church, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, thereby creates and sustains the church among us.

After Worship, we share the Spirit of God in fellowship and communion with one another around coffee and conversation.

"Blessed are your eyes, for they see,
and your ears, for they hear."
 – Jesus (Matt. 13:16)
